Abstract
Water tank in civil aircraft is an equipment storing water in water system. Cold weather is a severe working condition for water tank, which will cause water system to freezing and losting water supply function, so water tank is an important equipment focusing on the anti-freezing design in water system. The active and passive water tank heater is an advanced anti-freezing equipment for water tank. In this paper, the fluid-solid coupling heat transfer simulation is used to study on the heating and anti-freezing effect of water tank heater, considering the influence of the water tank heater power and the ambient temperature. After the analysis, on the premise of meeting the anti-freezing requirements of water tank, the heating power of water tank heater should be strictly controlled to improve the heating energy utilization, and the heating power of water tank heater should be also designed to match the most common ambient temperature, to optimize the heating energy utilization rate in the total life cycle of water tank heater. This study can guide the water tank heater design of civil aircraft.
