Abstract

Aiming at the problems of long-term continuous operation and high energy consumption of the VRV air-conditioning system adopted in large public buildings, this paper proposes a new spray evaporative cooling system that can spray water to the outdoor VRV unit and improve the efficiency of the VRV multi-line operation. The system was installed at the outdoor VRV air conditioner unit on the roof of a newly-built railway station, and the operation experiment was carried out in summer to study the influence of environment temperature and spray water rate on its energy-saving effect. Experimental results show that the water spray evaporative cooling air conditioning system can save 8.8% of the power consumption compared with the conventional system, and the energy saving effect is good. It can provide new technical options for the intelligent and green operation of the air conditioning system.
