Abstract

The distribution of coal seams and coal quality of the coal face is depicted using the coal seam samples from airway, converyer roadway and working face. Then the coal property data of the mined area and the related geological data are used to forecast the coal quality. This paper builds a three-dimensional model for the coal quality information of coal face on front-Web using JavaScript and three-dimensional display, transforming three-dimensional physical coordinates into screen coordinates. A multi-browser supportable drawing method with SVG and VML is used to realize the three-dimensional dynamic display of face's coal quality information under the developmental environment of MyEclipse 6.5. The results of experiment show that this paper presents a three-dimensional modeling method of coal seams based on JavaScript language, SVG and VML technology, and successfully applies it to coal information management system with the framework of Ibatis + Spring + Webwork, achieving the visualization of coal quality information based on multi-browser support, which will be helpful to the further research and extension of WebGIS in the field of three-dimensional visualization.
