Abstract

Online games have shown explosive growth in recent years. The emergence and maturity of VR (virtual reality) technology has injected new vitality into the development of online games. At the same time, the difference between the virtual personality and the real personality becomes more and more obvious. This study from the perspective of online games motivation, explore the dynamic mechanism of the virtual personality of online game users based on Freud's theory of personality structure. The paper also considers the separate phenomenon between the users' real personality and the virtual personality in role-playing online games.
