Abstract
Vehicular Edge Computing solves the problem of high delay in previous vehicle-mounted cloud computing by using the feature that edge servers are close to vehicle-mounted terminals and can provide computing services nearby. However, with the increasing amount of data processed by mobile terminals and the scale of computing, new requirements are brought about for task processing delay and task urgency scheduling. In this paper, a computing switching strategy is proposed to prioritize the allocation of computing resources needed for urgent tasks, reduce the completion time of urgent tasks, and make urgent tasks complete faster. The simulation experiment based on MATLAB platform shows that the switching times of urgent tasks are reduced by 50.94% and the average completion time of urgent tasks is reduced by 54.92%.
