Abstract
In order to assure the gearbox quality, it is a key step for most transmissions manufacturers to do the quality detection on the end of assembly line (QDEAL). Aiming at the most universal problem in the course of QDEAL-Knock, and the generating mechanism is analyzed; a detecting method which combines wavelet transform with traditional time domain and frequency domain analysis is developed; and the time-frequency characteristic which can denote transmission's knock problem is advanced. Finally, there is an experiment to examine the detecting effects of this method. The experimental results show that the time-domain information and scale-frequency characteristic, we can intuitively detect the generation of knock problem and confirm the location of knock based on the method developed in this paper.
