Abstract

Aiming at multi-sensor information fusion system (MSIFS), which has characters of multi-target and a large number of observation data, fuzzy theory was developed so as to sort all kinds of targets with uncertain attributes. In this paper, a new method of threat synthetic evaluation named fuzzy technique of order preference by similarity to ideal solution (FTOPSIS) is presented, and a model of FTOPSIS is established to solve the problems of target optimization and attacked target misjudgement in MSIFS. This new method has high precision and shows better performance than other classical methods. The simulation results show that the system using FTOPSIS has highest effectiveness. Compared with other classical methods such as analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and technique of order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS), the effectiveness of the system using FTOPSIS is about 23% higher than the AHP, and 11% higher than TOPSIS. FTOPSIS has good application in project and can be used practically.
