Abstract
With the popularization of network application technologies and the rapid development of computer information technologies, such as multimedia and virtual reality, modern society has entered the era of big data. The application of many digital information technology methods in modern teaching has brought tremendous momentum for the deepening of teaching reform. Networking, digitization, immersion, intelligence, interactivity, and multimedia have become the basic characteristics of modern digital information teaching. Multimedia digital teaching methods based on network technology bring new methods to art design teaching in the era of big data. Virtual reality technology comprehensively uses computers and other high technology to simulate three-dimensional space to form a virtual world. The combination of virtual reality technology and art design teaching provides new teaching methods, which will surely make achievements in art teaching. Based on digital information technologies such as multimedia and virtual reality, this article studies the application of information technology methods in art design teaching, making art design teaching more characteristic of the era of big data and digital information, and reflecting the vividness of the teaching process.
