Abstract
Fast-moving consumer goods are closely related to people’s lives and play an important role in the global economy. The fast-moving consumer goods industry is characterized by rapid changes in market demand, affected by seasons and holidays, a wide range of products, and fierce market competition. Based on the characteristics of the fast-moving consumer goods industry, this paper analyzes the supply chain of the fast-moving consumer goods industry and explains the causes of the “Bullwhip Effect” in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. It is believed that the manufacturing enterprises of fast-moving consumer goods can reduce the impact of the “bullwhip effect” on the entire supply chain by formulating effective master production plans.
