Abstract
This paper empirically investigates the relationship between the board diversity and corporate technological innovation on the relevant data of Hi-tech industrial listed firms in China from the year 2007–2009. Main findings and conclusions of this paper are as follows: there is a positive correlation between board's functional background diversity and technological innovation, there is a positive correlation between board's educational level diversity and technological innovation, but there is no significant influence between board industrial background diversity and technological innovation.
