Abstract
As an important carrier of ecological civilization construction, historical and cultural blocks are the most intuitive areas that reflect the regional characteristics of a city and human history. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the research status and characteristics of historical and cultural blocks, and to discuss the technical methods of protection planning under the social sustainable perspective.
