Abstract

Rural revitalization and new liberal arts education innovation have a significant impact on the talent training model of environmental design professionals. The study found that there is a significant gap between the current cultivation of environmental design talents and market demand, especially the demand for applied, comprehensive and innovative talents in the process of rural construction and revitalization. The author proposes a new talent training model for environmental design professionals based on an empirical study of the Ministry of Education's supply-demand matching employment education project, which is a collaboration between Sichuan Normal University and GMT Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. This model emphasizes the understanding and feeling of the countryside, hometown, and nostalgia at the spiritual level, and focuses on the perfect combination of theory and practical teaching at the practical level. In addition, the study also found that this training model can be applied to the training of other applied, comprehensive and innovative professionals. Through the research on this topic, we not only deepened our understanding of rural revitalization strategy and the environmental design profession, but also provided practical suggestions for the talent cultivation of the environmental design profession.
