Abstract

With the continuous development of new power system, the scale of renewable energy has been greatly improved, which brought difficulties to peak load regulation and new energy resource consumption, so that the grid scheduling facing new challenges of flexibility. Load-side resource participation in the ancillary services market can effectively reduce the impact of renewable energy generation. This paper firstly summarized the present situation of load-side resource participation in auxiliary service market at home and abroad, then divided load-side resource into three categories: industry, commercial buildings, and residential users. Finally, combined the domestic and international experience, this paper put forward some corresponding suggestions for the development of load-side resource participation in auxiliary service market.
