Abstract

The recognition and user experience of mobile QR scanning is mainly determined by whether it can detect and read the two valued data of blocks' gray (or color) information quickly and accurately. In order to further improve the level of mobile phone reading QR code and user experience, based on maximum likelihood criterion, this paper gives an optimal threshold algorithm for fast and accurate reading of QR code encoding information. It can mainly use in QR code scavenging software or plug-in. Through mobile phone scanning QR code, get the black and white (or color) blocks' gray (or color) value of its recorded information; quickly calculate the best decision threshold. It effectively improves the QR code's recognition effect and user experience. The algorithm can effectively solve the literacy problem of the QR code scavenging under the influence of illumination and other adverse conditions.
