Abstract

During the epidemic, all regions and universities and colleges across the country conducted online teaching. This article analyzes the online learning status of college students under the background of epidemic situation from the perspective of learning community theory and Wuhan Business University as a specific case. Through research, it is found that online teaching and traditional classroom teaching have their own advantages and disadvantages. Compared with traditional classroom learning communities, the teaching behaviors of teachers in the online learning community, for example, verbal behaviors and non-verbal behaviors, are difficult to effectively convey and play a role. The authority and dominance are weakened of teachers, and students have a weak sense of belonging to the community, but it is easier for teachers to change from knowledge providers to knowledge guides and participants, and it is easier to realize the student-centered education concept. Through a survey of Wuhan Business University students through questionnaires and online interviews, it is found that students have real feelings about the pros and cons of online learning this semester. The most anticipated way of class in the future is the combination of online teaching and traditional classroom teaching. In the future, China's higher education should explore a new education mode that organically connects online and offline, and runs up to each other.
