Abstract

Blind children, visually impaired, need to rely on other sensory and perceptual compensations to get the access to information. So their sensory and perceptual characteristics are different from ordinary people. Therefore, the environment of the school must be suitable for them to perceive and identify things so as to realize unobstructed sensation and perception. This thesis attempts to discuss the perception from three sides, namely, smoothness, identification and security.
