Abstract

Electric vehicles can effectively reduce the environmental pollution caused by traditional fuel vehicles, so they are valued and developed. However, the large-scale centralized charging of electric vehicles will bring power quality problems such as harmonics and voltage deviations to the distribution network. This paper studies the impact of electric vehicle charging stations on the power quality of the distribution network, analyzes the topology of electric vehicle charging piles and charging stations, and establishes three-pulse rectification charging piles, six-pulse rectification charging piles, twelve-pulse rectification charging piles, and PWM rectifier charging pile model. The charging stations are connected to the distribution network as charging piles, and the influence of electric vehicle charging stations of different topologies on the harmonics and voltage deviations of the distribution network is simulated and compared. These studies provide a reference for suppressing distribution network power quality problems caused by the charging station.
