Abstract

With the continuous development and utilization of renewable energy, distributed photovoltaic (PV) connected to low voltage distribution network has become a new mode of power generation, and the gradual increase of photovoltaic permeability has a certain influence on the power quality of low voltage distribution network. The simulation model of distributed photovoltaic grid-connected system was established by MATLAB/Simulink simulation software, and the influence of distributed photovoltaic grid-connected system on power quality of distribution network was analyzed from the angle of voltage fluctuation. Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) and PV inverter are combined to compensate the distribution network and suppress the fluctuation of grid voltage caused by the change of external conditions when distributed photovoltaic is connected to grid. The simulation results show that STATCOM and PV inverter have good suppression effect on voltage fluctuation when distributed photovoltaic is grid-connected, and the system model established is reasonable and effective.
