Abstract
In China, the phenomenon of touristification under the “historical district regeneration and tourism development” has had a negative impact on local communities. This study selects a typical case of recent urban regeneration in China- Ouyuan Historic District, Qingzhou City, Shandong Province, combs its touristification process, selects the factors affecting from the regeneration of historical districts, conducts a questionnaire survey with residents as objects, and uses statistical analysis software (SPSS21) for analysis. The results show that touristification has a negative impact on the living environment of residents that is close to “general”.
