Abstract

As the aging population grows, the demand for elderly care services is increasing. Different demands for elderly care services will bring about different economic growth points. Based on data from the questionnaire for the people aged 59 and younger, and the people aged 60 and over in Jiangsu province, China, the paper makes regression analysis between blood type of the respondents as the independent variable and options about their preference for the aged care mode or consumption habits as the dependent variable to find out which regression models are statistically significant. And then, according to the distribution of blood type of the local residents, their aged care mode, consumption habits, the hard and soft environment in the area, the paper puts forward suggestion on the development of the elderly service industry matching the actual situation of the region to drive the development of the upstream, midstream and downstream industries, so as to build an industrial chain of the elderly service industry in line with its regional characteristics, thus promote the growth of the local economy.
