Abstract
In aerospace drive system, the double redundancy brushless DC motor can greatly improve the reliability of drive system. In this paper a double-redundancy brushless DC motor is designed, and a mathematical model is established. Several common motor faults are analyzed and the wavelet change detection method which can achieve the requirement of on-line detection of fault signals is adopted. Through the motor fault tree and the characteristics of the obvious change of armature current during the motor fault, the signal source chosen for fault diagnosis is current. And the coif5 wavelet function can accurately detect the fault information, the high frequency coefficient of the second layer decomposition is used as the eigenvalue, and the eigenvectors of various faults are obtained. The experimental results show that this detection method can accurately distinguish the fault of motor winding.
