Abstract

The transportation mode of the railway cold chain has an essential impact on operational efficiency and cost. Under the uncertainty of demand and limited transportation capacity, an evolutionary game model of railway cold chain logistics is constructed to explain and analyze the dynamic decision‐making processes and mechanisms between cargo owners and railway transport enterprises. The results show that the evolutionary path and convergence speed of the model are influenced by the initial value and its allocation coefficient, cargo volume, additional benefit, and default cost. By using Matlab, numerical simulation is conducted to verify the theoretical assumptions and results. The conclusion provides a basis for studying and managing railway cold chain logistics.
