Abstract

In order to adjust traditional GDP to achieve a comprehensive measure of the sustainability of national economies and to optimize national policy-making, this paper constructs an assessment system of 11 indicators to measure GGDP in 3 dimensions: economic development, resource use and environmental pollution, and selects 24 countries as samples. Based on Coupled EWM-PCA, we construct Green Adjustment Coefficient (GAC) to adjust GDP to GGDP. Impact measurement based on Spearman Correlation. Results show that GGDP has the greatest correlation(-0.9) to suppress global CO2 emissions, followed by global temperature (-0.7) and global ocean temperature (-0.6).
