Abstract
The government of our country has put forward the grand goal of building an innovative country, and the city is an important point of national innovation. It is of great significance to study the theory of urban innovation system for our country to achieve the grand goal of the construction of an innovative country. This paper studies the connotation and structure of urban innovation system. Drawing on the definition of national innovation system and regional innovation system and combining the characteristics of the focus of urban innovation activities to the main battlefield of local economy, the connotation of the urban innovation system is defined as the optimization of the development of the urban development in the national innovation system and the optimization and development of the market demand and the national (regional) strategic layout. Regional technology innovation and system innovation activities undertake the function of innovation source system network. According to the different functions of innovation elements in urban innovation activities, the urban innovation system is divided into innovative implementation subsystem, innovation selection subsystem and innovation support subsystem.
