Abstract

Free-piston Stirling power generating system is a complex coupling system of thermo-mechanical-electrical, the thermo-electrical efficiency of which is affected by many factors. The effect of critical parameters of core components on system efficiency is a main focus, including the regenerator porosity and the change of wire screen diameter on the effect of system, the regenerator changes of flow resistance coefficient on system efficiency, the change of clearance between piston and air cylinder on system power and efficiency, the effect of heater transfer coefficient on system efficiency to improve system efficiency.
