Abstract
The ecological transformation and development of mariculture industry is of great significance to improve the marine resources and environment, promote the green development of aquaculture industry and meet the market demand for high-quality aquatic products. Based on panel data of 10 coastal provinces and cities in China from 2009 to 2018, the ecologicalization efficiency of mariculture industry and its influencing factors were analyzed from the two dimensions of industry system and ecological environment system. Firstly, the ecologicalization efficiency of mariculture industry in 10 coastal provinces and cities of China was measured by SBM-DEA model based on undesired output, and then the influencing factors of the ecologicalization of mariculture industry were explored by tail-breaking regression model. The results showed that the ecologicalization efficiency of mariculture industry in China showed a fluctuating upward trend, but it was still at a low level and there was a large space for improvement. The ecologicalization efficiency of mariculture industry is high in Hainan, medium in Shandong, Liaoning, Tianjin, Guangxi, Guangdong, Hebei and Fujian, and low in Zhejiang and Jiangsu, with obvious characteristics of spatial differentiation and unbalanced development. The per capita net income of fishermen, output value level of mariculture and mariculture structure have a significant positive effect on the improvement of the ecologicalization of mariculture industry in China, while the mariculture scale, technical personnel qualifications, aquaculture technology infrastructure, aquaculture technology promotion spending, fishermen training level and mariculture disaster loss rate have no obvious effect on the ecologicalization efficiency of mariculture industry.
