Abstract

In this paper, using MATLAB and ADAMS software platform, a combined simulation model of airborne missile high-pressure gas launching system has been established. The model can simultaneously solve the gas dynamics process of gas combustion and its expansion in gas cylinder and the structural dynamic process of the missile launching. Calculations show that, this combined simulation method can analyse and obtain gas state parameter variations in the gas cylinder, motion parameter variations of each moving part and load transfer and deformations among the parts in the launching system. Compared with the traditional method of solving the internal and external trajectory separately and independently, this model can simulate the whole launch process more realistically, and the calculation efficiency of this model is higher. The missile motion characteristics and dynamic loads of each component obtained by simulation using this method will serve as important design basis for launching system and airframe support structures.
