Abstract
The research on the development path of college aesthetic education in the new era aims to explore how to promote the development of college aesthetic education under the current social background. Based on cultural cognition, art education, social needs and educational theories, this research deeply analyzes the current status and existing problems of aesthetic education in colleges and universities through literature review and empirical research. In the research, we found that aesthetic education plays an important role in improving students' comprehensive quality, expanding talents' cultivation vision and promoting cultural innovation, but it also faces many challenges, such as insufficient educational resources, imperfect teaching staff and single teaching content. In order to solve these problems, this study puts forward a series of development paths and suggestions, including promoting interdisciplinary cooperation, building diversified teaching contents, cultivating high-level art education teachers, and advocating the concept of full participation in aesthetic education. Through these measures, we hope to provide effective guidance for the development of aesthetic education in colleges and universities in the new era, promote the overall improvement of students' aesthetic ability, promote the development of art and humanities in higher education, and make positive contributions to the construction of social culture.
