Abstract

With the continuous development of the level of informatization, the construction of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things has been put on the agenda, which has important guiding significance for improving the online monitoring level of power equipment in substations and promoting the development of smart grids. The power equipment condition monitoring system based on the Internet of Things is studied, and the architecture and characteristics of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things online monitoring system are summarized. According to the requirement of online monitoring of power equipment status in substations, the system composition of infrared thermal imaging monitoring subsystem and substation environmental monitoring subsystem is explored and studied, and the optimal design of power equipment status monitoring system is realized. The results show that the system can accurately and real-time detect and locate abnormal temperature areas of equipment, continuously monitor the areas with excessive temperature and give early warning of faults, which provides a reliable guarantee for abnormal monitoring of substation equipment.
