Abstract
In order to clarify the internal mechanism of DC bias in AC power grid caused by metro stray current, this paper carries out simulation and experimental research on the generation, conduction and convergence process of metro stray current. Firstly, the stray current simulation model is built according to the structure of the metro system. Then, the generation and related influencing factors of stray current produced by single metro train is studied. Results show that the proportion of stray current in traction current is only 0.05%~ 0.21% as the drainage net and tunnel reinforcement steel have a significant recovery effect on stray current. Further, metro stray current response that generated by single metro train and multiple trains under different metro operation conditions is analyzed. Results indicate that the changing operation state of metro trains and the non synchronization of surface potential leads to the randomness of stray current.
