Abstract

The era of big data has put forward higher requirements for pre service teachers' data literacy. Data literacy is described from six dimensions: Data awareness, data acquisition ability, data organization and management, data processing and analysis, data ethics and data sharing. A questionnaire survey is conducted to investigate the current situation of pre service teachers' data literacy in Zhaoqing University Guangdong Province. The results show that the pre service teachers' data awareness, data acquisition ability and data ethics ability are relatively strong, while the ability of data organization and management, data processing and analysis and data sharing need to be improved. The results of this article provide a reference for future teacher training, and provide suggestions and directions for pre service teachers to better improve their own data literacy.
