Research on the Countermeasures of Ideological and Political Education for College to Cultivate New People of the Times

Abstract

The development of science and technology is an important factor to support the comprehensive strength of a country, and the development of science and technology is inseparable from excellent talents. However, the cultivation of talents needs to rely on the development of education. Therefore, the essence of international competition lies in the competition of education business. Xi Jinping put forward for the first time in the 19th Party Congress the goal of cultivating the new generation of the times to take up the great responsibility of national rejuvenation. Colleges and universities should implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education and continuously cultivate new generations with ideals, skills and responsibilities, so as to contribute to the realization of the great task of national rejuvenation. Combining the relevant literature and survey results, the study puts forward the ideological and political education countermeasures and suggestions for cultivating the new man of the times in colleges and universities, which mainly include three aspects: leading ideal and belief education with great dreams, improving comprehensive quality with comprehensive development, and inspiring the spirit of struggle to connote responsibility. The study proposes ideological and political education for colleges and universities to implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education, cultivate the new man of the times with ideals, skills and responsibilities, and contribute to the realization of the great task of national rejuvenation.
