Abstract

This paper studies the coordinated relationship between cultural heritage protection and sustainable tourism development. Firstly, it introduces the concept and value of cultural heritage, including its definition, classification, historical and social significance, as well as the necessity of protection. Then it discusses the impact of tourism on cultural heritage, including the typical mode of cultural heritage tourism, opportunities and challenges, as well as international experience and case analysis. Then it introduces the concepts and principles of sustainable tourism, including the basic principles, the comprehensive consideration of ecological, social and economic sustainability, and the best examples. Next, it discusses the coordination mechanism between cultural heritage protection and sustainable tourism, including the cooperation and communication between stakeholders, the formulation and implementation of policies and regulations, and the impact of the coordination mechanism on actual cases. Finally, the conclusion is drawn.
