Abstract

Providing Emergency Power Supply (EPS) by electric vehicles (EVs) has the merits of lower cost and less pollution, which takes full advantage of added value of EVs. Parallel operation of EVs could provide EPS for the places such as parking lots of commercial, industrial and residential areas. Based on the characteristics of EPS provided by parallel operation of EVs, this paper proposed a two-layer control strategy to realize EPS provided by parallel operation of EVs, aiming to take full advantage of battery capacity of EVs and to balance user's demand; simulation results show the feasibility of the control strategy proposed.
