Abstract

In order to quantify the competitiveness of biomass energy industry and reach the goal of improving the competitiveness of biomass energy industry in Northeast China, a quantitative analysis tool — GEM model has been used in this thesis to research the competitiveness of biomass energy industry. Combined with the characters of biomass energy in Northeast China, this thesis analyzed the factors which are included basis, enterprise and market. Then we use AHP method to quantify them, constructed the index system, and analyzed the bottlenecks in developing biomass energy industry in Northeast China. According to the result of GEM model, we put forward some suggestions of improving the competitiveness of biomass energy industry. The results show that the analyzing result is practicable.
