Abstract

In order to obtain low vibration motor for ship propulsion, the selection of pole-slot combination and winding combination mode of twelve-phase fractional-slot concentrated winding permanent magnet (PM) motor is studied. The constraint conditions of pole-slot combination of twelve-phase fractional-slot concentrated winding motor with different winding combination modes are analyzed. The winding coefficient analytical calculation model, electromagnetic finite element model, structure model and harmonic response analysis model of the twelve-phase fractional-slot concentrated winding motor are established respectively. The effects of different pole-slot combination and winding combination mode on winding coefficient and motor vibration which includes vibration caused by electromagnetic force and torque ripple are analyzed. Finally, the selection principle of pole-slot combination and winding combination mode of low-vibration twelve-phase fractional-slot concentrated winding PM motor for ship propulsion is given.
