Abstract

Intelligent network disk (IND) storage system is a novel network storage system, in this storage system, the increasing number of clients and the probability of non-contiguous data access will reduce the hit rate of limited cache and lower the performance of storage system. This paper presents a client-side cache model of IND storage system, and introduces a strategy of page swapping to protect single copy based on LRU. The experiment shows that method above can effectively reduce the negative influence of the increasing number of clients and improve the performance of IND storage system.
