Research on the Application of Optical Fiber Communication Technology in Electric Power Communication

Abstract

With the improvement of people's life quality, people require the higher level of the electricpower communication than before. The electric power communication is the key to the safetyof power grid and electric power security support. At the same time, the rapid development ofpower industry puts forward higher requirements on electric power communication system. Optical fiber communication technology with low weight, large capacity, low dissipation, strong anti-interference ability, especially the optical WDM optical fiber communication andoptical switching function, meets the requirement of the development of digitization, and alsomakes electric power integrated communication ability improved. Therefore, optical fibercommunication technology is widely used in electric power communication, but with thedevelopment of the society, we should strengthen the development and study of optical fibercommunication technology continuously. The paper mainly explores the application andinfluence of optical fiber communication technology in electric power communication.
