Abstract

Toyota suffered the large-scale recall crisis in 2010, but the origin of lean production way of TOYOTA “high quality, low cost, customer first” doesn't change, and it still has great vitality. In this paper, a mechanism model between the lean production and the enterprise competitiveness is built, two cases of well-balance mixed production for various model types are studied, and the experience of the application of lean production in the independent automobile enterprise is summed up. The result shows that the application of lean production must be increased to a high degree of corporate strategy, the corporate culture and values must be changed, the management and the technology must be innovated upon, and the independent production management system must be established, so that the core competitiveness of enterprise can be enhanced.
