Abstract

At present, digital development in bridge engineering still has a significant shortage, and the information level of existing bridge projects is relatively low. Therefore, this paper presents a conceptual model to enhance the integration of bridge digital design, construction, operation and maintenance (O&M) based on Building Information Modelling (BIM) for the secondary development of bridge life cycle construction. This paper first proposes the conceptual construction of an integrated platform for intelligent bridge construction to realize the sharing of data and integration of modules in all phases of design, construction, and O&M to improve the efficiency of collaborative management of intelligent systems bridges. Secondly, the platform builds a data-sharing center based on BIM-based technologies such as componentization, informatization, and number-model separation to realize the cascading and interaction of data in each stage, which solves the problem of information transfer omission and difficulty in sharing in different stages of bridge engineering design, construction, and O&M management. Finally, a data collection and integration platform is built using the advantages of 3D visualization and efficient collaboration of BIM technology. The application of intelligent information technology in bridge construction is studied to improve information application and management of intelligent bridge design, construction, O&M.
