Abstract

The whole process of project cost management is cumbersome, involving various costs in the project and involving multiple interests. The lack of an effective cost information sharing platform for project participants has led to many loopholes in the process of project cost management. In order to strengthen the level of project cost management, management personnel advocate the use of BIM technology to realize the whole process management of project cost. The biggest feature of BIM technology is the large amount of information carried in the architectural model. From the decision-making stage, design stage, bidding stage, construction stage to the completion and acceptance stage of the project, all the information will be gathered in a three-dimensional model information database. Through the visualization and virtualization of the BIM model and other functions, it is conducive to the whole process management of the project cost by all parties involved in the project, and provides a good guarantee for the effective improvement of the project cost management efficiency.
