Abstract
The purpose of the present investigation is to find out the best conditions to obtain the high efficiency of pulverizing. Hence, it is necessary to find out the most suitable conditons of the air current. We observed the air current in a mill of standard size (case 1), in the one with stirring plates and conical obstacles (case 2), in the one whose propellers are shorter than the standard size (case 3), and in the one whose revolving directions inverse (case 4), We used the two methods-the silk thread method and the small paper piece method-to inspect the air current. We adopted the case 2 as the best one, because of its high efficiency and the intensity of the air current in it.
