Abstract

In this paper, classical prescriptions refer to ancient Chinese medicine prescriptions created by Zhang Zhongjing in Han Dynasty. For the analysis of the components of classical prescriptions, it has been a great difficulty because of the constituent medicines and substance components. In order to extract the constituent medicines and substance components, we constructed the extraction model of classical prescriptions. First, taking the classical prescriptions as the unit, we extracted the constituent medicines of each classic prescription from the literature database by analyzing the texts of ancient books such as treatise on febrile diseases. Then, we directly extracted the substance components of the classical prescription by screening the literature. When the substance components of some classical prescriptions can not be extracted directly, we extracted the substance components of each constituent medicine by taking it as the object.
