Abstract

In this paper, through the analysis of an electromagnetic Potential Transformer (PT) fuse fault in the distribution network, it is found that the cause of this type of fault is the low-frequency oscillation and inrush current of the voltage transformer caused by the disturbance, and its occurrence mechanism is studied and explained. After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the common PT fuse-blowing fault control measures, this paper proposes a treatment plan for the PT neutral point to suppress the fuse blowing through a nonlinear flow-sensitive harmonic elimination device. The harmonic device has a remarkable suppression effect on the PT fuse blown fault.
