Abstract

The collision simulation model of the energy-absorbing box was established to analyze the collision safety by taking the energy-absorbing box of a certain car as the research object. Firstly, according to the thickness prediction theory of equal energy absorption, the thickness of the aluminum energy absorbing box is obtained, and the energy absorption characteristics of the steel and aluminum energy absorbing boxes are analyzed. Then, the inner wall structure of the energy-absorbing box is improved, and an energy-absorbing box structure with better energy absorption characteristics is obtained. Finally, the sample point data is obtained by the optimal Latin hypercube sampling method. The approximate model is constructed by Hyper Kriging method. The genetic algorithm is used to optimize the calculation. The optimization value is substituted into the initial model to solve for reliability verification.
