Research on Space Form Design of Local Culture and Custom in Qia Chuan Wetland Settlement

Abstract

On the background of the tourism exploitation, according to wetland settlement local culture and custom in Qia Chuan, Shaanxi, through the interpretation of Qia Chuan existing villages to excavate regional architecture’ characteristics and elements, applied Qia Chuan wetland settlement’ local culture to architecture design ,protected it and reformed it, reinterpreted local conditions and customs with special forms of space, provided people a space which they can have a more profound understanding about local history and culture to look at with reverence. Through exploring the characteristics of the towns’ local architecture that have been creative coped and the inherited the way of the modern transformation in order to realize space deduction of modernization and regionalization in Yellow River wetland settlement local conditions and customs.
