Abstract

The evaluation of equipment system of systems (SoS) contribution is the key to optimize the system structure and improve the SoS operational effectiveness. Based on the in-depth analysis of the SoS structure, the graphical evaluation and review technique (GERT) was used to construct the SoS-GERT network in an effectiveness perspective. An equivalent transfer function algorithm for SoS-GERT network based on moment generating function and mason formula is proposed. Based on this, the algorithm formula of evaluation indexes such as SoS operational effectiveness and its stability level is given. Then, based on the profound analysis of the connotation of equipment SoS contribution, combined with the analysis of the importance of GERT network, the evaluation model of equipment SoS contribution based on SoS-GERT network equivalent transfer function is proposed. Finally, the case study verifies the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method, which has certain advantages over the traditional method. It provides a new theory for the evaluation of equipment contribution degree of SoS, which lays a theoretical foundation for the optimal allocation of equipment combat SoS.
