Abstract

AbstractThe state of charge (SOC) and continuous peak power (SOP) of lithium-ion battery are important criteria to evaluate the stable operation of electric vehicles. In the paper, a battery model was built based on the second-order Thevenin equivalent circuit. In UDDS condition, an extended Kalman filter algorithm was used to estimate the SOC. The battery SOC, terminal voltage and internal parameters were taken as the constraints to estimate the SOP. Finally, the simulation is implemented in MATLAB Simulink environment and analyzed in detail. The results show that the proposed method has better estimation accuracy and more stable static performance, which has a certain reference value for the research of lithium battery SOP estimation.KeywordsSecond-order Thevenin modelSOC estimationSOP estimation
