Abstract

Railway spatial data has the characteristics of multiple sources of information, multiple sources of format and diversified management, using multi-scale representation technology can improve the combination degree of visual expression form and logical thinking of users. Aiming at the problem of the single selection method of railway spatial data, the demand for multi-scale representation of railway geographic information data is analyzed. Combined with geographic information content cartographic generalization and multi-scale representation theory, a railway spatial data selection method based on significance is proposed. Taking the point elements as the research object, three indexes of importance, accessibility and characteristic attributes are set, and the significant value is constructed as the selection basis to realize the multi-scale visual representation of railway stations. The rationality of the selection method is assessed and verified through the comparison of real maps.
