Abstract

For the point cloud simplification and hole repair in the process of scattered point cloud processing, a fast de-noising method for scattered point cloud data based on spherical model is designed. This paper introduces the method of establishing sphere model and including the scattered point cloud model of 3D objects in the sphere model, the coding sequence of the vertebral body region in the sphere and the distribution strategy of each coordinate point are discussed, the different distribution of point clouds in each cone region and the algorithm of data reduction and denoising are studied, this paper presents a method to transform 3D scattered point cloud model from spherical coordinates to rectangular coordinates. A hole repair algorithm based on improved radial basis function model is designed. The method of hole boundary extraction is introduced, the steps of fitting surface with radial basis function model are given. Experimental simulation and analysis show that, the method proposed in this paper can simplify scattered point cloud and repair holes, and the algorithm is simple, Low requirement for hardware system, It is more suitable for embedded system to calculate.KeywordsScattered point cloudFast streamliningRadial basis functionHole repair
